Use the callbox on the left to request entrance to the shelter.

Visit or call to donate via credit card, check, or cash. You will receive a donation receipt.

  • The shelter always needs dog food, kitten food, and newspaper.
  • Purchase food, toys, supplies from the shelter's Amazon wishlist, or this second wishlist.
  • Sponsor or donate toward an animal's adoption fee. By reducing the upfront cost, your contribution helps animals find homes. You can name a specific animal to support, if you'd like.
  • To make a general donation, please specify "special projects" to ensure that your donation goes to the shelter.

Please consider including the shelter in your trust or will. It is these gifts that enable the shelter's larger projects and purchases.

A mere two days after the Animal Adoption Center requested toys, the community flooded the shelter's dogs and cats with gifts. If you'd like to send something, the shelter maintains a wishlist on Amazon. Donations to counties (including the shelter) are tax deductible in Alabama. Photo by AAC.
